Slot tubes are welded structures with the support profiles being rods in the axial direction of the tube and surface profiles spirally wound around the support profiles.

Normal construction of slot tubes (FOTI) allows for flow-out-to-in filtration. However, flow-in–to-out constructions(FITO) are also possible.

This construction can be used not only in filtration but also in architecture.

Slottubes are made from different acid - proof steels like: AISI 304, AISI 316 L, Uranus, Hastelloy, Monel.

Slottubes can be provided with many kinds of endings or reinforcements.

Advantages:

· slot is resistant of clogging and is easy in cleaning.
